Competency Based Interviewing Workshop

COMPETENCY BASED INTERVIEWING WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
After taking Competency Based Interviewing Workshop you can plan for CBI, Prepare and conduct CBI, and Recruitment & Selection KPIs. According to CBI, the most accurate measure of potential success is past performance of a same situation, The more current the behavior or actions, the more likely these will be repeated. Interviewers use CBI to evaluate success of candidates in a specific core field or ability that is related to the job description.
Competency-based interviews (also referred to as formal, behavioral, or situational interviews) are used to evaluate one or more abilities or competencies. The interviewer will ask you a series of questions, each concentrating on a different ability, and your responses will be compared to determined criteria and evaluated accordingly.
Competency interviews are based on the idea that past success is the best predictor of future results. Employers from all industries can use them, especially major graduate recruiters, who can use them as part of an appraisal center.
In summary, They’re not like standard or unstructured interviews, which are more casual. Recruiters also ask a series of random, open-ended questions specific to the job in unstructured interviews, such as ‘what can you do for the company?’ and ‘why did you apply for the job?’ to get a general sense of who you are. A CBI is more structured, with each question focusing on a specific skill required for the job.
